My service is based on the belief that the needs of my clients are important. I tailor my massages for each individual, assessing and considering all aspects of their health.
I bring 18 years of experience and continued education, including Traditional Hawaiian Mana Lomi, Hot Stone Therapy and Dynamic Cupping to my work.
Soothing Lomi strokes increase blood circulation and melt away muscle tension, while gentle compressions are used to gradually work deep to the bone. Compression and traction techniques are used to stimulate the Golgi tendons, allowing the muscles to relax. Traditional Hawaiian Mana Lomi techniques are a calming, nurturing and effective way of doing either relaxation or deep tissue massage.
With Dynamic Cupping, the suction of silicone cups are used to create negative pressure on specific areas of the body. This drawing action is an excellent form of lymphatic drainage and myofascial release. Cupping also stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, making it a relaxing part of the treatment.
During a session oil is applied and traditional massage strokes are used in combination with the cups. The cups can travel over the body in sweeping strokes or stay in one spot to give an area of tightness some focused work. This releases tension and adhesions from all directions, making it a more complete treatment with effective results.
Due to COVID-19 precautions, I will not be offering Hot Stone massages. I will start offering them again once restrictions are lifted.
A deeply calming massage where hot oiled stones are used to make flowing strokes and compressions, allowing the entire body to relax. Traditional Mana Lomi hot stone techniques are effective for both therapeutic and relaxation purposes.
